Church Quilt!!

Wow!! What a color difference between inside and out side lighting!!! This is the second quilt that I made for my church, the name of the block is called Gods eye . I wanted to make a quilt that they could hang up all year long in between Easter and Christmas and other events that happen in the Presbyterian church!!  It looks pretty I think!

This is a close up look a the the fabric I chose FROM MY STASH......well most of them were any way!!! I was happy to use it for this. I have been enjoying every minute of the work I have done on these quilts, I feel very good about it!! I hope they like them as much as I enjoy giving them!!
I found this pic of the first quilt I guess I did not ever blog about it!!! Its an Easter quilt complete with eggs and tulips and a cross and cross and clothe!!!
I know not much of a update but I have more now that I can upload pics!!! Yay!!

Here is the Lovely Place we had the pleasure of using for the weekend for a fantabulous weekend! It is a little building off the side of the Presbyterian Church in American Fork!!
We Had people sewing and scrap booking, coming and going. Since it was so close to so many were able to getaway but not too far away if we had something to take care of.

Busy little bee's at work and as I'm posting this pic I see we have a streaker among us!! This was early in the day the first day not everyone was there yet!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

I have to admit I CHEATED again!!!! I found this way cute Panel at a local quilt store on clearance no less. It is a Holly Hobbie and it was so cute I had to bring it home and make My sweet Olivia a quick and easy valentines quilt. It was so quick and easy I make a queen size for my bed. I thought it looked like pieced blocks so i left it alone and quilted it, everyone that has seen this up close has thought that it was pieced.
I even took a close up of the quilting and it still looked pieced!! I call that a bonus!!
Sorry My photog skill's still suck!! Who has time to practice when I have so many quilts to do!
This one is kind of a give a way with the black out line !
I had decided to try a new quilting design and with out practicing it out on paper first I just went to town on the quilt and I think it turned out fabulous!!!

Blue and Brown

We finally presented the blue and brown wonky quilt to its intended party, we had been planning to five it to her way back in November 2010. I guess we are were a little busy this year I know I have been. Any way i think she was a happy lady, her little girl was happy too I think she was thinking it was for her. It fun going to her home as her whole family was there her husband took our picture. Miss patty Pickle miss Kristen pickle and My self went to give it too her and they are just the best at breaking the silence and making everything go smooth, Thank you lady's!!!
These are all the blocks that were left from the Original quilt I had the Lady's make a few extra so that we could have enough to make a small quilt for quilts shows and to have a remembrance of the quilts we made and donated, but we thought it best be used by someone going through a life's challenge.
I just love this quilt!!!
We even put her name in the quilting!
I hope this brings comfort for years to come!! Thank you to all the pickles that helped make this possible!!

Just thought I would share a little of what I have been working on. This is one that I made for my sweet little girl Olivia. She loves putting her little things in it and carrying it around. I think I might blowup the pattern just a little for me one. What do you think?

Christmas Tree Festival

This was the second quilt Pink Pickles made for donation! I really love this one, it turned out beautiful!

This is the first quilt the the Pink Pickles did for charity, it went to the Festival of Tree's and all proceeds are donated to the Primary Children's Hospital. I go to this every year and every year I just bawl my eyes out, looking at all the children in the pictures is so sad.
I don't know why but when I walked up to look at our quilts and saw the sign on them I started to cry. And could not stop the whole time I was around them. Maybe I'm just weird!!!

Here are a few other quilts at the festival That I liked and maybe might make a few of them!
I took a pic of this one because I liked the fabric! LOL. Oh ya and the old sewing machine!
This one was a cool Christmas count down and I had saw a quilt made the same way earlier, Loved the bent tree!
We all know why I took a pic of this one? Cause I just love Pink n black, plus it was a cool pattern.

As Olivia would say..... Dee Haw!!!!!

Here is that bent tree again, but not as a count down!
Love this one!!

And this one! Love the purple and Green combo!
this one had to be the biggest one there, it was so pretty!!
